Face to Face Starts Sunday
A.W. Tozer once wrote, “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” In essence, what we believe about God shapes what we believe about ourselves, how we live, how we see the world, how we view other people, and how we interact with those around us. Who you believe God to be influences absolutely everything.
Tomorrow we begin a new series titled Face to Face: Seeing God for Who He Really Is, from John 1:1–18. In the opening of his Gospel, John reveals the breathtaking reality of the incarnation: God stepped into humanity, the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and the God who once seemed distant chose to come near. God with us. God made flesh. This is the true heart of the Christmas season.
Every now and then a message feels especially meaningful to me, and tomorrow’s message is one of those. I’m excited to step into the Christmas season with you at Reach tomorrow at 10am.
