Child-Like Faith

This Sunday is a special one! We will not be meeting at our regular location, but at Lum’s Pond State Park (Area 4) for our annual Church Picnic. (Please note that we will not be streaming online this week.) Our day will begin with an outdoor worship service at 10:30am, followed by baptisms, food, and fun. This is always one of the highlights of our year.

Matthew 18:4 says, “Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Jesus reminds us that greatness in God’s Kingdom does not come through strength, position, or achievement, but through humility and trust. As we gather outdoors in God’s creation, surrounded by laughter, games, and good food, I pray this message comes alive in a fresh way. Just as children run freely and live dependently, we are invited to rest in the Father’s care and walk in the simplicity of faith.

Bring a chair, bring a friend, and most of all, bring your childlike spirit.

See you at Lum’s Pond!
